The rules
What we write, and how
Every guide answers one question a local business owner actually asked us, opens with a direct answer you can quote, and names its sources — Harvard Business Review, BrightLocal, Meta and the carriers' own registration guidance. Where a number is illustrative, the guide says so in the same breath.
The perspective comes from the work: these topics run through our six services and our 18 live client accounts every day, so the advice is the advice we follow ourselves.

ExploreGoing deeper
Where to go next
When a guide describes exactly your week, the service page behind it goes deeper: speed-to-lead and AI follow-up, lead ads and AI creative, lead lists and compliance, or local SEO and AI search.
And when you want the numbers for your own business instead of the industry's, the free audit runs the live tests — response time, reviews, Maps and AI answers — and leaves you the one-page plan.

Blog questions, answered
About the guides and how they get made.
Who writes these guides?
The Footprint team, from the daily work of running 18 live client accounts — the same people who build the campaigns, automations and local pages the guides describe.
Do you cite sources?
Every statistic carries its source — BrightLocal's 2026 survey, Harvard Business Review's lead research, Meta's published figures, the carriers' registration guidance — and every illustrative number is labeled as illustrative.
Can I use a guide with my team?
Please do — share the links internally, and if you quote a passage publicly, link back to the guide so your readers get the sources too.
Can I suggest a topic?
Yes — email hello@growwithfootprint.com with the question your team keeps asking, and the guides that answer real questions go to the front of the queue.
How often do you publish?
When we learn something worth teaching. The best guides come out of a client call the same week the question came up.
